We Would Love to Hear What You Have to Say: Feedback Form

Making the right choices nutritionally might seem difficult initially, but, after you've built some momentum and gotten some solid days of clean eating behind you, your body will actually start to crave healthy food and shy away from the junk.

Below, Community Chiropractic & Acupuncture of Park Slope goes over a few ways that you can eat clean and maintain your discipline when it comes to your diet and your health and wellness.

1.) Opt for Greens as Your Side Dishes

Always make sure to include a mixed greens salad or some type of vegetable with whatever your clean main course is. If you're at a restaurant there should be plenty of options that will suit your new nutritional needs.

2.) Green Juices and Green Smoothies

Just to make sure you get in your daily dose of healthy greens, try to drink a kale shake in the mornings with some collagen protein in it to gain several health benefits. Always go with veggie smoothies over fruit smoothies or fruit juices, which both generally have similar sugar content to soda pop.

3.) Say "No" to Fast Food

Instead of feeling like you must eat something, if the only option for you given your circumstances is fast food, opt to skip that meal and fast instead. There's really no point in putting Burgers, fries, or other junk foods into your body. Many of them literally have nearly zero nutritional value.

One bonus tip we'd like to give is to stay hydrated. Drinking half your body weight in ounces of water will help your body function and feel its best.
